1:00 pm  Squally with Fair Weather at times, and at others slight showers of Rain.

Wednesday, Aug. 13, 1788

7:00 am Served Portable Soup for Breakfast & Dinner as usual and Wort at Eleven oClock.

9:00 am Mustered all hands to their Quarters and Exercised.

10:00 am  Unbent the old Foresail and Bent the Second Best.

12:00 pm Wind increasing and the Sea rising from the Westward. Under whole Topsails and Fore Top Mast and lower Steering Sails. Few Pintadas and Blue Peterels.
