1:00 pm Fair Weather and less Sea.
3:00 pm Saw several small water snakes. Ringed yellow and Black.
6:00 pm Served a Jill of water for Supper. I was asked for Bread but I was not far enough advanced to judge of my passage to grant it, at which there were some murmurings by the Master & Carpenter Simpson and Linkletter.
12:00 am Showers of Rain
6:00 am Fair Weather and a Strong Trade. Constantly bailing.
9:00 am Saw water Snakes, Rock Weed and flying fish.
12:00 pm Ditto Weather. Served 1/24 pound Bread and a Jill of water for Dinner with 6 oysters to each person
In addition to our allowance of 1/24 pound Bread and a Jill of water for breakfast and Dinner I served 6 oysters to each person.
We passed a number of water Snakes that were Ringed yellow and black, and towards noon a good deal of Rock Weed. Altho the weather is fair yet we are constantly wet with the Sea and two people are always obliged to bail the Boat.
